El Nombre usually turns up to help Little Juan and the townsfolk of Santa Flamingo with problems, or stop Don Fandango or any other bandit's crime. He is like Zorro, with the bullwhip, sombrero hat, mask, black clothes and all that. However, unlike Zorro, El Nombre is often quite inept.
